I was able to drag myself down to the seashore before dawn again. This time, I had to brave wind and rain. I clambered over Black Rock to fish the very rough sea. It wasn't a very pleasant morning of fishing. I had a difficult time catching bait. The bite was off and my rig was repeatedly harassed by a lobster who clipped my tiny hook off. I did get a good pull on some frozen squid that I had brought with me. That fish was off before I could even get to the rod. Other than a visit from a pod of spotted eagle rays and a several sea turtles, it was a quiet and lonely morning.
