Heath and I started the day by grocery shopping for Thanksgiving dinner.

The whole family then spent the day at Napili Beach which was a little disappointing. It was much more crowded and rough than our beloved Kaanapali.

While most of the rest of the crew was resting up for dinner, I made a pilgrimage/scouting trip to Black Rock (Pu‘u Keka‘a). This is a sacred site for Hawaiians and also my upcoming fishing spot.

By the time I made it back to the "hale," Heath had already begun working his magic in the kitchen.

We had a non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner which was the most delicious meal I've yet had on the island (and i have had some fine meals here.)
