We spent most of the day on a boat. Leaving Maalaea Bay, we traveled to the reef at Molokini. Because the water was so choppy, the captain decided to take us instead to the island of Lana'i.

The snorkeling was excellent, the boat and crew were superb. Several in our group were 1st time snorkelers and we all had a blast.

The wind picked up on the way home. The swell and the open bar made for a fun ride home. On our way, we spotted two humpback whales which had made it over early to their nursing waters.

In the evening, Michele and I had a chance to go on a date. We ate again at Kimo's bringing our trip full circle. After our dinner, we stumbled into a tattoo parlor where I had some art drawn up for some touch-up work for my shoulder.
